I have been an educator since 2001 and have worked with students with many different experiences and backgrounds. It has always been wonderful for me to watch students go from frustration to success.

I have been an educator since 2001 and have worked with students with many different experiences and backgrounds. It has always been wonderful for me to watch students go from frustration to success.
Growing up I struggled in school and had to find what "works for me." Sometimes that meant long hours, while other times it meant additional resources. As an educator I believe it is important to help a student find what works best for them. This also includes having a positive relationship and effective collaboration. In addition, I work with students to develop problem solving skills when completing school assignments and preparing for tests.
So what are my credentials? Presently, I am a certified teacher in special education K-12, English 5-9, and Math 5-9. I have been a classroom teacher for two decades and an online teacher over three years.
My university degrees include a BBA in Marketing, M.Ed in Special Education, and an Ed.S in Higher Education Administration.
I have worked with student in middle school, elementary school, and some high school. The majority of the tutoring that I have done has been in math and English. I have also helped students in science, social studies, test preparation, and executive function skills.
First of all this is COMPLETELY optional. In addition to the degrees and experience that I referenced in the "My Background" section I am also a trained hypnotherapist.

I received my Clinical Hypnotherapy certification from The American Council of Hypnotist Examiners in January of 2023. This certification was the result of 18 months of training through The Academy of Hypnosis.
Since receiving my credential, I have worked with students in areas that include, but are not limited to relaxation, ADHD, and anxiety. I have also worked with adults with issues that include anxiety, depression, imposter syndrome, reaching goals and a variety of other topics.
